ART 4005 – Drawing IV
Course Description
An advanced course in drawing exploring the conceptual, expressive, personal and technical limits of the drawing process and media. Students propose and initiate projects while working from a variety of personally chosen model sources and from imagination leading to a finished series of drawings. Open discussion and structured critiques are used to further develop formal, conceptual, expressive, and technical understanding and progress. Drawing IV is designed to explore and push knowledge and skills gained in Drawing I, II, and III and to further promote the student’s ability to make sound personal choices toward the solving of compositional, expressive, choice of media and content problems in drawing.
Course is normally offered during the spring semester.
